Mystery game

Detectives

Become a detective for a day—can you uncover the truth?

Solve a realistic murder mystery—right from your living room

Here's how it works:

You'll receive a complete case file containing leads, evidence, and interview transcripts, ready for investigation.

The Marselis Murder is an intense and atmospheric investigative experience featuring all the evidence the police have gathered:

  • Interrogation Reports

  • Evidence and internal notes

  • Autopsy report and analyses

Examine the evidence, piece together the clues—and uncover the killer.

⏱️ Playing time: 1–2 hours
👥 2–8 players
🎯 Difficulty level: 4/10

🏠 Play from home – all you need is a smartphone to scan the QR code.

Can you see what others overlook?

⏱️ Playtime: 1–2 hours

Set aside about 1.5 hours—and dive into the investigation.
Some solve the case quickly. Others dig deeper and examine every single detail.

Gather around the table, pour something into your glasses, and get ready to think on your feet.
You’ll need at least one smartphone to scan QR codes along the way—the rest requires a good sense of the big picture, curiosity, and focus.

👥 1–8 people

You can solve the problem on your own, but it's more fun with others.

We recommend a group of 2–6 people, so you can brainstorm, discuss, and divide up the tasks.
In principle, you can have more participants—up to about 8—but there’s a natural limit to how many people can actively participate in the investigative work before too many opinions come into play.

🎯 Difficulty: 4/10

Not a walk in the park—but it doesn't require an expert either.

Here, you’ll be challenged enough to have to think things through without getting stuck.
Anyone can join in, but it takes a keen eye and good teamwork skills to piece everything together.

What does the game consist of?

You will receive a physical case file containing six sealed envelopes—each envelope represents a new chapter in the investigation.

Along the way, you’ll need to solve specific tasks to move forward. This might involve cracking the code to the victim’s phone, identifying the next person to be questioned, or connecting clues from witness statements and reports.

The set contains a total of approximately 30 documents in various formats—ranging from interrogation reports to evidence—which together constitute the case.

In addition, digital elements are integrated along the way via QR codes, which you can scan with your smartphone.

A physical case in your hands—with digital clues that bring you closer to the truth.
